  • Copy of a vintage print I made in a makeshift kitchen darkroom at a cottage I rented in Felton, California while attending UCSC.  Made from merging a litho film negative of a Nepali rice print with an image of Roger Schley and Jay Jensen crossing the Palisade Glacier below Mount Sill in California’s Sierra Nevada.

(Markings on back are interesting)  Here Roger Schley rests just below what we considered the be the crux move on Cucumbers, Cardinal Pinnacle. Because we could climb it we figured it couldn’t be any harder that 5.8 or 5.9.
